After placing outfielder Gregory Polanco on the 10-day DL with a hamstring injury on Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Pirates have decided to shut him down for a couple days before he can begin his rehab. This could potentially push Polanco's return to the diamond back from the original date that he's eligible next Friday. 

Despite struggling early in the season, Polanco was on tear prior to the injury he suffered Sunday, hitting .333 in his past 10 games. This is most definitely something to keep an eye on.
