Rays Infielder Steve Pearce Activated from Disabled List

Veteran infielder Steve Pearce was having himself a heck of a season prior to suffering a hamstring injury back on June 20, posting a .322 average with nine homers and 25 RBI to go with a solid .393 on-base percentage in 51 games.

Pearce has now been activated from the 15-day disabled list and will likely find himself in the team's starting lineup against the Colorado Rockies in Coors Field on Tuesday.

A .299 hitter with a .333 BAbip against right-handed pitchers on the season, Pearce could very well have success against Rockies starter Tyler Chatwood come Tuesday evening. Though, it might be best to hold off on him from a DFS perspective until he has a game or two under his belt after missing a full month of action.
