On the shelf since August 6th with a muscle strain in his right forearm, Oakland Athletics pitcher Sonny Gray may be done for the season.

In reality, this might be the best thing for Gray and the A's. He's had a terrible season, pitching to a 5-11 record with a 5.74 ERA in 21 starts thus far this season. With the A's boasting a 52-65 record, it makes sense for them to shut their ace down. It will definitely be interesting to see how this plays out moving forward. Though, it's safe to say you can drop Gray from your re-draft leagues if you haven't already.
