Following his outburst Saturday night, Chicago White Sox ace Chris Sale has been suspended by the team for five games. The story itself is as unbelievable as it is worrisome.
Subject of trade rumors, Sales lost his cool prior to his scheduled start against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday. He reportedly cut up the team's throwback jerseys as a way to protest being required to wear them. No, that's actually what happened.

By suspending him five games, the White Sox will ultimately be without Sale's services for a total of two starts. Then again, there's a chance he never pitches for the team again. The trade deadline is a week from Monday, and there's been a ton of rumors about him being dealt.
