Struggling Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig left Thursdy's game against the Washington Nationals with a hamstring injury. There's no indication one way or the other how serious the injury is, but it's important to note that the enigmatic outfielder missed all but 79 games a season ago with a hamstring injury.
Puig, 25, is hitting .257 with seven homers, 32 RBI and a lackluster .319 on-base percentage on the season. This is unfortunate news for a Dodgers team that's also without Trayce Thompson, who was placed on the 15-day DL last week with a back injury. Also on the shelf — potentially for the remainder of the season — is Clayton Kershaw.
