Chicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell will miss his second consecutive game when his team takes on the San Diego Padres on Monday.
Russell had to sit out Sunday's action after suffering a sprained ankle on Saturday. With him out of action, Javier Baez will man short with youngster Ian Happ taking over at second.
Russell is hitting just .220 with six homers and 26 RBI on the season. He's been one of the biggest busts for a Cubs team that has struggled after winning the World Series last season.
