The Tampa Bay Rays will roll with a four-man starting rotation over the next week-plus. The team placed started Matt Andriese on the 10-day disabled list Wednesday with a groin strain.
It doesn't appear to be a long-term injury for the 27-year-old start, but it could have some impact in deeper leagues. Thus far this season, Andriese has pitched to a 5-1 record with a 3.43 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in 11 starts.
He's also struck out 54 batters in 61 innings, making for a strong fantasy add either in year-long leagues or DFS contests. At this pint, Andriese will miss at least one start. But with the Rays having two upcoming days off, it's not a huge deal for the team.
