A day after handing him a four-game suspension for his role in Monday's brawl against the San Francisco Giants, MLB has reduced Bryce Harper's suspension to three games.
It's an interesting move, but this will get Harper back on the field one game earlier. The MVP candidate is having a tremendous season, posting a .322 average with 15 homers and 41 RBI in 47 games.
He's now expected to return in time for this weekend's series against the Oakland Athletics. We can surely expect fireworks to go off there, especially considering the series will take place in Oakland.
