After missing the past week plus with a right rib cage strain, the Baltimore Orioles will get designated hitter Mark Trumbo back in the mix Wednesday against the Los Angeles Angels.
The 31-year-old DH is hitting just .238 with 17 homers and 50 RBI on the season. He's also struck out 102 times and boasts a substandard .300 on-base percentage.
Baltimore currently finds itself just 1.5 games out of the final wild card spot in the American League. Getting one of their best power hitters back on the field should be a boon.
But from a fantasy perspective, Trumbo provides very little outside of his ability to hit the home run. That likely won't change here over the short term.
