At this point, it just seems like an everlasting stream that won't stop. Another starting pitcher is headed for the disabled list, this time it's Miami Marlins Wei-Yin Chen, who lands on the 10-day disabled list with left arm fatigue.
The diagnosis is certainly vague for fantasy owners, but it doesn't seem like there should be too much cause for concern. While Chen has dealt with injuries throughout parts of his career and carried the injury concern into the year with him, this seems like a minor ailment for now.
Chen will miss the next 10 games and hopefully it will be a minimum-length absence and the rest will allow him to help his arm and the fatigue to go away. Chen, who was scratched from his scheduled start on Saturday, allowed 13 runs and 23 hits in 27 innings this season, but registered a 20/9 K/BB ratio and showed some good stuff in several of his starts.
A replacement for Chen's spot in the rotation hasn't yet been named, but for a team that lacks rotation depth and talent, whoever they choose will likely be off the fantasy radar in all but the deepest of leagues.
