Brewers at Angels
The Los Angeles Angels hope to have their superstar in the lineup when they vie for their sixth consecutive win when they host the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday. Mike Trout went 2-for-2 and scored a run in Tuesday's 11-8 triumph before exiting in the fourth inning with a strained right groin.
The reigning American League Player of the Week, Trout has reached base safely in every contest this season. Tommy La Stella went deep twice on Tuesday, giving him three homers in two games, while Jonathan Lucroy drove in three runs for the Angels, who are 5-1 on their seven-game homestand. Yasmani Grandal went 3-for-4 with two homers, three RBIs and three runs scored for Milwaukee, which has dropped two straight on the road after winning its first three. Mike Moustakas has gone deep in back-to-back contests after going without a hit in five consecutive games.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Brewers RH Brandon Woodruff (1-0, 6.00 ERA) vs. Angels RH Felix Pena (0-1, 5.40)
Woodruff was unable to come away with a victory against the Chicago Cubs on Friday as he surrendered four runs and six hits in four-plus innings after being staked to an 8-0 lead. The 26-year-old native of Mississippi registered eight strikeouts, however, increasing his season total to 13 in nine frames. Woodruff has yet to face the Angels in his career but is 1-1 with a 1.29 ERA in three interleague games (two starts).
Pena failed to last five innings in each of his first two starts of the season, coming one out away from hitting the mark against Texas on Friday. The 29-year-old Dominican was in line for the victory as he allowed just one run on four hits and two walks with seven strikeouts. Pena has yielded one run and two hits with five strikeouts over 4 2/3 frames in five career relief appearances versus Milwaukee.
