Dodgers at Brewers

The Los Angeles Dodgers look to defeat Milwaukee for the third straight night when they continue their four-game series against the host Brewers on Saturday. Los Angeles owns the longest winning streak in the majors at six games after recording a 5-3 triumph on Friday, while Milwaukee has dropped three consecutive contests.

Enrique Hernandez slugged a tiebreaking three-run homer off Brewers reliever Josh Hader in the eighth inning to spark the Dodgers' latest victory. "It was 0-2, big situation in the eighth inning, especially with that guy on the mound," Hernandez said in a postgame television interview. "I had to find a way to put the ball in play." Reigning National League MVP Christian Yelich belted a two-run shot for Milwaukee to take over the major-league lead with 11 homers. Yelich has gone deep in both games of the series and has collected six homers and 14 RBIs over his last five contests.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Dodgers LH Hyun-Jin Ryu (2-0, 3.07 ERA) vs. Brewers RH Chase Anderson (1-0, 4.50)

Ryu (groin) will be activated from the injured list to make his first start since leaving after 1 2/3 innings against St. Louis on April 8. The 32-year-old South Korean pitched well in his first two turns of the season as he allowed three runs and 10 hits while registering 13 strikeouts without issuing a walk. Ryu defeated the Brewers in his one regular-season appearance against them on May 22, 2013, when he gave up two runs and six hits over 7 1/3 frames.

Anderson will make his first start of the season after getting the nod from manager Craig Counsell after Friday's contest. The 31-year-old made 30 regular-season starts last year, when he went 9-8 with a 3.93 ERA. Anderson, who has made five relief appearances in 2019, owns a 1-4 record and 5.02 ERA in 12 career games (11 starts) versus the Dodgers.
