Yankees at Diamondbacks

The New York Yankees still have a full injured list, but that's not stopping the team from winning games. The Yankees will try to push their winning streak to four straight and earn a 10th victory in 11 games when they visit the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday for the opener of a two-game interleague series.

New York is featuring several players who weren't big parts of the team's plan in the everyday lineup but are still pounding out runs and totaled 24 in a three-game sweep at the San Francisco Giants over the weekend. Anchoring the lineup is one of the few players still around from the Opening Day lineup in catcher Gary Sanchez, who belted a grand slam in Saturday's 6-4 triumph and added a two-run blast in Sunday's 11-5 win. The Diamondbacks got a pair of home runs from red-hot third baseman Eduardo Escobar on Sunday but could not outlast the Cubs in a 6-5, 15-inning setback - their second consecutive loss following a five-game winning streak. Arizona will try to jump back into the win column behind right-hander Merrill Kelly on Tuesday while the Yankees counter with veteran lefty CC Sabathia.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Yankees LH CC Sabathia (1-0, 2.40 ERA) vs. Diamondbacks RH Merrill Kelly (2-2, 3.94)

Sabathia needs three strikeouts to reach 3,000 for his career and is looking to bounce back after his first rough outing. The 38-year-old, who is set to retire after this season, did not allow an earned run in either of his first two starts but was knocked around for five runs - four earned - and six hits across five innings at the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday. Sabathia spent most of his career in the American League and is making his third career start against Arizona after going 2-0 with a 2.30 ERA in the first two chances.

Kelly snapped a three-start winless streak at Pittsburgh on Wednesday, when he allowed two runs on six hits - two home runs - over seven innings while striking out five. The 30-year-old rookie issued two walks in that outing to show some improvement after walking seven in 3 2/3 frames at the Chicago Cubs in his previous outing. Kelly's best start came in interleague play on April 7, when he held the Boston Red Sox to one run and four hits over eight innings.

WALK-OFFS

1. Yankees 1B Luke Voit reached base safely in each of his last 39 games.

2. Arizona RHP Greg Holland has yet to allow a run in nine appearances, covering nine innings.

3. New York 2B DJ LeMahieu (knee) and 3B Gio Urshela (hand) both left Sunday's game and are day-to-day.
