Orioles at Rockies
The Colorado Rockies opened their longest homestand of the season with a come-from-behind walk-off win and they'll try to make it two in a row over the Baltimore Orioles when the teams continue a three-game series Saturday. The Orioles led 5-1 early and 6-3 entering the bottom of the seventh before Trevor Story and Nolan Arenado hit homers to tie it for the Rockies and Story later walked it off with a two-run blast in the ninth.
Colorado had 14 hits in the opener of the 10-game homestand while improving to 10-11 at Coors Field. Story's first homer Friday night was the 100th of his career, making him the fastest shortstop in baseball history to get to that mark. Arenado also had two blasts for the Rockies, who will try to provide similar support Saturday for struggling left-hander Kyle Freeland. Baltimore has dropped seven straight, the last three by a total of five runs, and will give the ball to veteran Andrew Cashner on Saturday.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Orioles RH Andrew Cashner (4-2, 4.14 ERA) vs. Rockies LH Kyle Freeland (2-5, 6.02)
Cashner has completed exactly six innings in three straight starts while allowing a total of six runs and 13 hits during that stretch. One of the outings was against the Boston Red Sox and two were against the New York Yankees, giving the 32-year-old five total encounters with the American League East powerhouses among his 10 starts. Cashner spent four-plus seasons in the National League West with San Diego and is 0-2 with a 7.94 ERA in nine career games (five starts) at Coors Field.
Freeland is 0-2 with an 8.03 ERA in five starts since coming off the injured list. He lasted only 1 2/3 innings -- the second-shortest start of his career -- and gave up three runs and four hits with three walks at Philadelphia on Sunday. The 26-year-old, who has never faced Baltimore, is 6-1 with a 2.20 ERA in 10 career interleague starts.
