Dodgers at Diamondbacks
The Los Angeles Dodgers aim to extend their winning streak to eight games when they visit the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday afternoon for the finale of their three-game series. The Dodgers prevailed 9-0 on Tuesday and have outscored Arizona 12-1 over the first two games of the set.
Enrique Hernandez homered and drove in two runs while Cody Bellinger also recorded two RBIs as eight of Los Angeles' 12 hits went for extra bases in Tuesday's rout. Hernandez, David Freese (two RBIs), Russell Martin and Corey Seager (two RBIs) notched two hits apiece while Joc Pederson scored twice from the leadoff spot. The Diamondbacks have managed just six hits in the series - three in each game - and have dropped seven of their last nine contests. Adam Jones is hitless in five at-bats in the series and departed Tuesday's game with hamstring tightness, leaving his status for the finale in doubt.
