Giants at Dodgers

Clayton Kershaw looks to avenge his lone setback of the season when the Los Angeles Dodgers host the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday for the second contest of their four-game series. The ace left-hander lost in San Francisco on June 7 despite giving up only two runs and six hits over seven innings.

Kershaw will be looking to help the Dodgers rebound from Monday's 3-2 loss in the series opener as the Giants evened the season series at five wins apiece. Max Muncy homered for the fifth time in eight games and recorded two of Los Angeles' five hits. San Francisco registered only three hits on Monday but won for the fifth time in six contests, with Brandon Crawford's two-run double being the big hit. Buster Posey, who just returned from a hamstring injury, sat out the opener but is expected to be in the lineup versus Kershaw, against whom he is batting .231 with three homers in 108 career at-bats.
