Giants at Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers will seek a second straight high-scoring output when they host the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday for the third contest of their four-game series. The Dodgers erupted for a 9-0 win on Tuesday after scoring three runs or fewer in eight of their previous 11 contests.

Enrique Hernandez hit a grand slam during a six-run seventh inning while Joc Pederson went deep earlier in a contest in which Los Angeles outhit the Giants 14-4. Cody Bellinger went 2-for-5 to record just his second multi-hit performance of the month, but he still leads the majors with a .355 batting average. San Francisco had won five of its previous six games - including a 3-2 win in Monday's series opener - before suffering its second-largest margin of defeat of the season on Tuesday. Buster Posey, who was hitless in four at-bats on Tuesday to drop to 4-for-22 against Los Angeles this season, is 9-for-19 with a homer against scheduled Dodgers starter Rich Hill.
