Marlins at Phillies

The Philadelphia Phillies finally got some production out of the top spot in the lineup but still couldn't manage to find the win column. The Phillies will try to end their slide at six straight and avoid a three-game sweep when they host the National League-worst Miami Marlins in the series finale on Sunday.

Bryce Harper was 2-for-10 in his first two games in the leadoff spot for Philadelphia but went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs out of the top spot on Saturday, only to watch his team fall 5-3 and score three or fewer runs for the fifth time in the last six contests. The Phillies were 33-22 after an 11-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on May 29 but have since gone 6-15 to fall to two games over .500 (39-37). The Marlins (29-46) score the fewest runs in the NL but are winners of three straight and four of their last five while averaging five runs in those four victories. Miami will go for the sweep behind promising rookie Jordan Yamamoto while Philadelphia counters with right-hander Enyel De Los Santos.
