Giants at Diamondbacks

While the Arizona Diamondbacks hope to have their hottest hitter back in the lineup, the San Francisco Giants are counting on their newest addition to remain on fire when they visit their National League West rivals Sunday. Alex Dickerson followed a sensational debut in the series opener with another strong offensive effort in San Francisco's 7-4 triumph Saturday.

Dickerson, acquired from San Diego earlier this month, was recalled from the minors Friday and made a smashing debut, belting a grand slam while recording six RBIs and finishing a double shy of the cycle. The 29-year-old outfielder followed up with a 2-for-4 outing and drove in three runs, becoming the first San Francisco player to notch at least nine RBIs in his first two games with the club and the third in major-league history to accomplish the feat. While Dickerson has helped set up the Giants for a three-game sweep, Arizona is hoping to have Ketel Marte in the lineup as it attempts to halt a six-game losing streak. The 25-year-old Dominican outfielder, who missed Saturday's game with a groin injury, has recorded multiple hits in six consecutive contests - going 17-for-25 with three homers and four RBIs during the streak.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Giants RH Shaun Anderson (2-2, 4.08 ERA) vs. Diamondbacks RH Merrill Kelly (7-7, 3.99)

After the first three starts of his career at home, Anderson will be taking the mound on the road for the fourth time in five outings. The 24-year-old Floridian lost the Dodgers in Los Angeles on Tuesday after yielding three runs on seven hits and three walks in 5 2/3 innings. Anderson suffered his first career setback against Arizona on May 26, when he surrendered six runs (four earned) and nine hits in five frames.

Kelly had his three-start winning streak halted Tuesday as he was tagged by Colorado for six runs and eight hits over six innings. The 30-year-old allowed a total of two runs over 22 1/3 frames in his previous three turns. Kelly won his first career start against San Francisco on May 17 as he scattered six hits over 5 1/3 scoreless innings.
