Giants at Rockies
The San Francisco Giants look to complete a four-game sweep when they visit the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday afternoon. The Giants posted an 8-4, 10-inning victory on Tuesday and have outscored the Rockies 29-7 in the first three contests of the series.
Alex Dickerson (7-for-10 in the series) recorded a career-best four hits, including a tiebreaking single in the 10th, as San Francisco scored four times in the extra frame after allowing three runs in the bottom of the ninth. Mike Yastrzemski homered among his three hits on Tuesday after notching four hits - including a blast - in the opener of Monday's doubleheader. The streaking Giants have won 11 of their last 13 games and own an identical record (46-49) as the plunging Rockies, who have lost 10 of their last 12 contests. Trevor Story belted a solo shot and Ian Desmond added a two-run blast in the ninth for Colorado, which came up empty in all three of its at-bats with runners in scoring position.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Giants RH Shaun Anderson (3-2, 4.48 ERA) vs. Rockies RH Jon Gray (9-6, 3.83)
Anderson has allowed four runs apiece in back-to-back no-decisions, lasting five innings against Milwaukee after working only four versus San Diego. The 24-year-old gave up two runs in six of his first nine major-league turns and also registered fewer than four strikeouts in seven of his first 10 outings before fanning a season-best eight batters against the Brewers. Anderson, who will be facing the Rockies for the first time, is 1-1 with a 4.81 ERA in six road starts this year.
Gray settled for a no-decision against Cincinnati in his last turn after giving up two runs and four hits over seven innings. The 27-year-old has won four of his last five decisions, and his next victory will put him in double digits for the fourth straight season and leave him two shy of last year's career-high total. Gray scattered four hits over six scoreless frames in a win over San Francisco on June 24 and is 1-1 with a 0.71 ERA in two starts versus the club this season but just 1-3 with a 4.38 ERA in eight career meetings.
