Orioles at Yankees

The most one-sided matchup in baseball continues Tuesday in New York as the host Yankees look to continue their dominance of the Baltimore Orioles. The Yankees slugged seven more home runs in sweeping a doubleheader to begin the four-game set Monday, running their phenomenal winning streak against the Orioles to 14 in a row.

New York has launched 59 homers in 17 matchups on the season, including 23 over the last five meetings. Gleyber Torres has led the charge with an astounding 13 long balls - three in the doubleheader - versus Baltimore in 2019, the most by any player in a single year against one team in the divisional era (since 1969). He failed to go deep in his one prior matchup with lefty John Means, who starts Tuesday for the last-place Orioles. The Yankees counter with Domingo German as he attempts to become the first 16-game winner in the majors this year.
