Tigers at Astros
The Houston Astros appear to be getting back on track after suffering through a five-game slide. Houston aims to record its third straight victory when it hosts the struggling Detroit Tigers on Tuesday.
Yuli Gurriel remained hot, going 2-for-4 and plating two runs in Monday's 5-4 win, and is 19-for-48 with five homers and 19 RBIs over his last 12 games. Impressive rookie Yordan Alvarez drove in a run, giving him 56 RBIs - and 19 blasts - in just 54 contests. Detroit has lost three straight games and seven of its past nine. Miguel Cabrera, who was ejected in the fifth inning for arguing balls and strikes, went 2-for-3 with an RBI after being hitless with seven strikeouts in nine at-bats over his previous two games.
