Brewers at Cardinals

The St. Louis Cardinals will try to finish off their second straight series sweep of the visiting Milwaukee Brewers when the National League Central rivals finish their three-game set Wednesday night. The Cardinals have won six straight matchups with the Brewers after coasting to a 9-4 win Tuesday.

Dexter Fowler drove in four runs and Marcell Ozuna had three hits and two runs scored for first-place St. Louis, which remained a half-game up on the Chicago Cubs in the division and moved four ahead of Milwaukee. Paul DeJong chipped in one hit and scored twice for the Cardinals on Tuesday and the shortstop is batting .383 in 12 games versus the Brewers this year. Orlando Arcia drove in a pair of runs in Tuesday's loss for Milwaukee, which lost its third straight and sixth in the last eight contests. The Brewers will try to salvage the finale behind Adrian Houser on Wednesday while St. Louis turns to veteran Adam Wainwright.
