Blue Jays at Dodgers

Max Muncy has tied a franchise record by homering in each of his last five games and looks to set a new mark on Thursday, when the Los Angeles Dodgers host the Toronto Blue Jays for the finale of their three-game series. Muncy belted his 33rd homer with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Dodgers a 2-1 victory on Wednesday.

The triumph improved Los Angeles' impressive home record to 50-16 and extended the team's major league-leading walk-off win count to 11. "I think it's contagious with the attitude in the clubhouse," Muncy told reporters after the victory about the dramatic endings. "Everyone wants to be up there in that situation, everyone wants to be the guy. When you have a whole group of guys that want to do that, then you get the results that we've had." Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen continues to struggle as he blew his sixth save opportunity of the season when Toronto's Rowdy Tellez hit a game-tying homer in the top of the ninth. The Blue Jays are in the midst of a four-game losing streak during which it has been outscored 29-7.
