Marlins at Pirates
The Miami Marlins picked up their first road victory in nearly six weeks, and they did so in dramatic fashion. The Marlins will try to make it two in a row away from home when they continue a three-game series at the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday.
Down to its last out, trailing 4-3 and staring at a 16th consecutive road loss, Miami got a game-tying solo home run from Miguel Rojas off Pirates closer Felipe Vazquez and then a go-ahead solo blast in the 10th from Garrett Cooper to steal a 5-4 win in Tuesday's series opener. Pittsburgh had won four in a row before it was held to four hits - three by leadoff man Adam Frazier - in the setback. Frazier has homered in consecutive games and is 13-for-27 during a six-game hitting streak. He and his teammates will be getting their first look at Miami rookie right-hander Robert Dugger, who starts Wednesday against Trevor Williams.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Marlins RH Robert Dugger (0-1, 4.50 ERA) vs. Pirates RH Trevor Williams (7-6, 5.26)
Dugger bounced back from a difficult MLB debut to pitch well against the Cincinnati Reds in his second career start Thursday. He held the Reds to two unearned runs and three hits over seven innings with seven strikeouts and a walk. The 24-year-old has given up three home runs among eight total hits thus far.
Williams gave up eight runs (six earned) in only two innings of an ugly loss at Washington on Aug. 19, but he's been very good ever since. The Arizona State product first tossed six scoreless to defeat Cincinnati and then allowed three runs over a season high-tying seven frames in a win over Colorado at Coors Field. Williams gave up six runs across 4 2/3 innings over his first two games (one start) against Miami, both in 2017.
WALK-OFFS
1. Pittsburgh was 46-2 when leading after eight innings before Tuesday's result.
2. Cooper also had a run-scoring double Tuesday to double his RBI output from the previous 13 games combined.
3. Pirates RHP Mitch Keller left the series opener after being struck by a line drive. He was diagnosed with a right wrist bruise.
