Grandal's walk-off homer lifts Dodgers over Brewers

Yasmani Grandal hit two home runs, including the game-winner in the 10th inning, on a night when Brian Dozier had a home run among his three hits in his Dodgers debut, and Los Angeles pulled off a 6-4 victory Wednesday over the visiting Milwaukee Brewers.

Grandal's game-winning shot came after Matt Kemp broke an 0-for-26 slide with a leadoff single in the 10th. Grandal crushed a 1-1 pitch from Matt Albers (3-3) into the seats in the right field corner.

Dylan Floro (4-2) pitched a perfect top of the 10th to earn the victory. The Dodgers ended their three-game losing streak.

Grandal hit his first home run of the night leading off the fifth inning. The next batter was Dozier, who made his first Dodgers hit a home run. Grandal has 19 homers on the season, while Dozier hit his 17th.

Dozier also had a bloop single and scored a run in the seventh inning, and he doubled in the eighth. The former All-Star was acquired by the Dodgers in a deal with the Minnesota Twins at Tuesday's non-waiver trade deadline.

Yasiel Puig gave the Dodgers a 3-2 lead in the seventh with an RBI single to right field off Brewers reliever Corbin Burnes to score Dozier.

The Dodgers made it 4-2 later in the inning when Enrique Hernandez's safety squeeze toward first base scored Chris Taylor from third.

Mike Moustakas pulled the Brewers to within 4-3 on an eighth-inning RBI double off Scott Alexander. Manny Pina tied it 4-4 when he followed with an RBI single.

Moustakas kept the score level in the bottom of the eighth when he robbed Taylor of a bases-loaded hit with a dive down the third base line.

Christian Yelich went 0-for-5 for the Brewers to end his 15-game hitting streak.

Dodgers starter Rich Hill gave up two runs (one earned) on six hits over six innings with four strikeouts and a walk.

Brewers starter Chase Anderson retired the first 12 batters he faced before giving up back-to-back homers. The right-hander gave up two runs on three hits with six strikeouts and two walks over six innings.

Lorenzo Cain tormented the Dodgers early to give the Brewers a 2-0 lead. He hit a first-inning triple and scored when Dozier's relay throw to third went out of play. He then scored from second base in the third inning on a wild pitch, when Grandal couldn't locate the ball quickly behind the plate.
