After reporting renewed soreness in his quadriceps over the weekend, it appears San Antonio Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard suffered a major setback. On Wednesday, San Antonio announced Leonard is out indefinitely due to his recovery from right quadricep tendinopathy.
Leonard's absence, which the team says is part of his progression in rehabilitation, is a major blow for fantasy owners. He played in only nine games this season and at this point, it's uncertain if we'll see him take the court again in 2018.
