Daily Fantasy Basketball Dime- May 1st, 2014

Someone is going home tonight.  There are three NBA games on the schedule tonight with all three series having one team with a three games to two lead.  Expect at least one series to end tonight, but do not be surprised if the Hawks, Clippers and Grizzlies all finish off their opponents tonight.  FanDuel.com continues to offer great daily fantasy basketball contests throughout the NBA playoffs and if you are not playing you are clearly missing out.  Click the eDraft link to sign up at FanDuel.com and receive a 100% deposit bonus on your initial deposit!

Point Guard:

Star – Mike Conley, $7,900: Conley finally had a bit of an off game last time out, yet is still managing to average 37 fantasy points a game this series.  With Chris Paul, Stephen Curry and Russell Westbrook all at least $1500 more expensive, Conley is a fantastic dollar for dollar play.

Scrub – C.J. Watson, $3,800:  The most attractive thing about Watson tonight is his price tag.  A player that is daily fantasy basketball relevant that is priced only $300 over minimum price is a tough thing to find during the playoffs.  Watson is coming off his best game yet where he finished with 24.1 fantasy points and is a great value play tonight.

Shooting Guard:

Stud – Klay Thompson $6,500: In this series, Thompson has realized there is more to do on the court other then score the basketball, which is helping to pad his total fantasy points scored quite nicely.

Scrub - Tony Allen, $5,500:  Allen is one of the premier defenders in the NBA, which is earning him plenty of time on the hardwood this series in an effort to slow down Kevin Durant.  Through five games played this series he is averaging 27.9 fantasy points a game and will be in for another solid outing tonight.

Small Forward:

Star – Paul George, $9,700: Although the Pacers continue to get embarrassed by the Hawks, George continues to have solid fantasy nights.  He is coming off a massive 58.4 fantasy point night and remains $1.3k cheaper than Durant.

Scrub - Draymond Green, $5,300:  Green has done a fantastic job cementing himself into the Warriors rotation, which has resulted in a double double in two of the last three games.  The price tag remains moderate and small forward is a shallow position tonight at FanDuel.com making Green a great play for some salary cap relief.

Power Forward:

Star – Zach Randolph $8,000: In four of the five games played so far in the Thunder/Grizzlies series Randolph has score at least 33 fantasy points.  The Grizzlies get a chance on their home court to finish off the Thunder tonight and Randolph will get his offensive game going early.

Stud - David West, $6,700: As the Pacers often do in tough situations they turn to West to help carry the team.  This has resulted in West scoring 30+ fantasy points three games in a row, and with the Pacers facing elimination tonight’s game is the definition of a tough situation.

Center:

Stud – Marc Gasol, $8,300: Tough paying $8.3k for Gasol when Dwight Howard was only $8.4k yesterday, but options are limited on a three game slate of games.  Gasol is the safer of the two center plays today; he is coming into tonight’s game scoring 40+ fantasy points in back to back games and is a great consistent source of fantasy points.

Stud – DeAndre Jordan $7,900: Here comes the upside play at center tonight.  In the last three games this series Jordan has scored 50+ fantasy points in two of them, with a ten fantasy point dud in the middle.  He has a higher fantasy point ceiling than Gasol, but also a much lower fantasy point floor.

Good luck tonight.  Be sure to follow both @eDraftSports and me @Cui2iousGeoi2ge
