The Chicago Bulls will once again be without All-Star guard Jimmy Butler when they take on the New York Knicks Thursday. Butler has been dealing with an illness and missed Tuesday's game against the Washinton Wizards.
In Butler's stead, rookie Denzel Valentine put up 19 points on 7-of-15 shooting in Tuesday's narrow loss to Washington. We can expect to see him log 30-plus minutes of action once again on Thursday. Though, the expectation here has to be for Dwyane Wade to take on a larger scoring role in Butler's absence.
The Knicks rank in the bottom five of the NBA against fantasy guards. This is a clear indication that both Valentine and Wade should be seen as decent DFS options when Thursday comes calling.
