With a 3.5 game lead for the top spot in the Eastern Conference and just four games remaining in the regular season, the Cleveland Cavaliers pretty much have home-court advantage throughout the playoffs wrapped up.
This means that head coach Tyronn Lue will be resting some of his star players at times during the final week of the season.
That's starts Wednesday night with LeBron James sitting out against the Indiana Pacers.
A move that won't be taken kindly by ESPN, who is set to broadcast the game, makes perfect sense for a Cavaliers team with championship aspirations.
From a DFS perspective, a lot changes in this game.
First off, Pacers forward Paul George won't be facing one of the best wing defenders in the entire Association. At $1,600 less than Kevin Durant from the small forward position in FanDuel contests, George becomes an obvious play here.
As it relates to the Cavs, look for both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love to take on more scoring opportunities. We had already recommended Love as a play tonight even before news of James resting broke. Love is averaging 20 points and nearly 10 rebounds over the past 10 games.
The expectation here also has to be that J.R. Smith will see more time at the three with James out. He's averaging 24 points over the past two games. At $4,500, Smith is an obvious value play.
