Pacers at Thunder
The Indiana Pacers are winners of six of their last seven games and improved to 1-1 on a five-game road trip with a 117-104 triumph at Memphis on Monday. The Pacers, who fell at Philadelphia to begin the trip, will try to make it two in a row when they visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.
Indiana handed out 31 assists and placed seven scorers in double figures while shooting 50 percent from the floor against the Grizzlies, and offensive balance has been a staple of the team's strong start. "I just like the fact that we're moving the ball," Pacers coach Nate McMillan told reporters. "We're sharing the ball, getting the ball to the open man. Normally when you play that way, good things happen." The Thunder are winners of three of their last four games and are coming off a sweep of a home-and-home set against the New Orleans Pelicans. "We're just communicating," Thunder guard Dennis Schroder told reporters. "I think that's the biggest key for our group, just communicating offensively and defensively and we'll be fine."

ABOUT THE PACERS (13-7): Malcolm Brogdon recorded team highs of 19 points and nine assists on Monday while power forward Domantas Sabonis filled the box score with 18 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists, but it could just as easily be Myles Turner, T.J. Warren, Jeremy Lamb or Justin Holiday leading the way. "We just have so much, man," Turner told reporters after Monday's triumph. "...The balance that we have night in and night out, we don't have to worry about where we're going to get offense from." Indiana is still awaiting the return of All-Star guard Victor Oladipo (knee), who is practicing with the team's G League affiliate.
ABOUT THE THUNDER (8-11): Forward Danilo Gallinari recorded his first double-double of the season with 23 points and 11 rebounds in Sunday's 107-104 win at New Orleans and went 4-of-7 from 3-point range for his eighth straight game with multiple 3-pointers. Center Steven Adams joined his frontcourt partner with a productive back-to-back against the Pelicans, notching a pair of double-doubles while going a combined 13-of-18 from the floor. "It was just winning time," point guard Chris Paul told reporters after Sunday's victory. "(Steven) made big plays, big free throws and we got timely stops. That was huge for us."
