Heat at Warriors
The banged-up Miami Heat are having a difficult time thus far on their longest road trip of the season. They'll try to find enough healthy bodies to snap a season-high three-game losing streak when they visit the Golden State Warriors on Monday.
After setbacks at the Los Angeles Clippers and Sacramento Kings to begin the six-game trip, which spans the All-Star break, the Heat fell 115-109 at Portland on Sunday while playing their second straight without All-Star Jimmy Butler (shoulder) and third in a row without standout rookie Tyler Herro (foot). Goran Dragic carried the offensive load with 27 points and seven assists off the bench as Miami lost for the sixth time in its last eight road games. The Warriors have lost two in a row since posting a rare two-game winning streak, but they received some encouraging signs in Saturday's 125-120 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Andrew Wiggins scored 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting and recorded five steals in his debut with Golden State following a trade last week with Minnesota.

ABOUT THE HEAT (34-18): Miami, which also has endured the trip without center Meyers Leonard (ankle), did get some help Sunday with the team debuts of Jae Crowder and Andre Iguodola. The pair, acquired from Memphis in a three-team trade before Thursday's deadline, combined for 20 points and 17 rebounds - 18 and 11, respectively, by Crowder. "Incorporating Andre and Jae was a big plus for us," coach Erik Spoelstra told reporters. "They're veteran players so they pick up things very quickly. It felt as if they were here for awhile, not just joining us 48 hours ago."
ABOUT THE WARRIORS (12-41): Wiggins was 3-of-4 from 3-point range in his impressive debut, and although his new team sits at the bottom of the Western Conference he seems content with the fresh start. "I was like if it happens it happens, it's going to be a blessing either way," Wiggins told reporters. "... This whole thing didn't really feel real until they announced my name." Marquese Chriss scored 26 points in Saturday's loss on 12-of-15 shooting, which comes two games after he went 5-for-5 from the floor in a win at Washington.
