Grizzlies at Warriors
THE STORY: In this truncated season, it is rare for any team to have much break between games, and the Memphis Grizzlies are hoping to take advantage. They have not played since Saturday and after Wednesday’s visit to Golden State, they won’t play again until Saturday at Phoenix. The Grizzlies have won 10 of 12 and are 11-0 when scoring 100 or more points. The Warriors are coming off their highest-scoring game of the season, a 120-100 victory over Washington. Golden State shot a season-best 65.2 percent (15 of 23) from 3-point range.

ABOUT THE GRIZZLIES (22-15): Memphis has a knack for late-game rallies and one of its most impressive came the last time it faced Golden State in Oakland on Jan. 23. After trailing by 20 in the third quarter, Memphis outscored the Warriors 39-22 in the fourth quarter and eked out a 91-90 victory. The Grizzlies also pulled out a one-point win, 104-103, against the Warriors on Feb. 18. “I think maturity and the will to win is why we now have such good late-game focus,” coach Lionel Hollins said.
ABOUT THE WARRIORS (15-20): Stephen Curry scored 36 points in the last game against Memphis. He averages 27 against them this season and Monta Ellis averages 26.5, but Curry could be out Wednesday. Curry is still battling a strained tendon in his right foot, but was productive scoring 12 points (on 5-for-7 shooting) in nine minutes against Washington. Center Ekpe Udoh had 17 points and six rebounds in his second straight star and has permanently relegated Andris Biedrins to the bench. Biedrins had his fifth consecutive scoreless game.
BUZZER BEATERS:
1. Memphis power forward Zach Randolph (MCL tear) will travel with the team but not play this week. There is still no timetable for his turn.
2. Golden State’s reserves made 10 of 14 3-pointers against Washington, led by rookie Klay Thompson (4 of 5).
3. The last time the Grizzlies were 10-2 over a 12-game stretch was Nov. 12 to Dec. 6, 2005.
