Hornets at Bulls
The New Orleans Hornets will be without top overall pick Anthony Davis on Saturday as they visit the Chicago Bulls. Davis exited Friday's 88-86 triumph over Utah in the second quarter after he was hit by an inadvertent elbow from teammate and fellow rookie Austin Rivers. A Chicago native, Davis did not travel with the club to the Windy City and is listed as day-to-day with a minor concussion.
The Bulls begin a season-high five-game homestand fresh off posting their first 2-0 start in 10 seasons. Richard Hamilton scored 19 points for the second straight game and Carlos Boozer added 19 of his own in Friday's convincing 115-86 victory over Cleveland. All five Chicago starters shot over 50 percent from the field.

ABOUT THE HORNETS (1-1): Greivis Vasquez's driving lay-in snapped a tie with 1.3 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter for his first game-winning shot of his three-year career. Robin Lopez chipped in with 19 points - his highest scoring output since the 2011-12 season opener versus Phoenix. Eric Gordon told Yahoo! Sports that he expects to be sidelined 4-6 weeks with a knee injury, although coach Monty Williams did not confirm the report.
ABOUT THE BULLS (2-0): Fast starts have been the norm thus far for Chicago, which scored the first seven points on Friday and enjoyed a 25-point halftime lead. Nate Robinson stepped in for a foul-plagued Kirk Hinrich and scored 16 points and added a game-high 12 assists versus the Cavaliers. The pair is being looked upon to produce as Derrick Rose continues to recover from his torn ACL.
