Bucks at Celtics

The Milwaukee Bucks look to end an 11-game road losing skid when they take on the Boston Celtics on Friday. The Bucks have dropped two of their last three overall, but are coming off a 95-91 win over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday and remain ahead of the Miami Heat for the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Milwaukee beat the Celtics 96-93 on Feb. 7 and hopes to make it two in a row by posting its first victory away from home in over two months. Boston snapped a three-game home losing skid with a comfortable 100-87 win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. The Celtics have won three of their last four overall to remain one-half game behind the Brooklyn Nets in the race for the eighth and final playoff spot in the East. Boston has racked up eight victories in its last 10 games against fellow Eastern Conference rivals and hopes to beat the Bucks for the third time in the last four meetings after losing the previous four in the series.

ABOUT THE BUCKS (37-38): Michael Carter-Williams scored 21 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in the win over the Bulls after being limited to four points on 1-of-6 shooting in the loss to the Atlanta Hawks on March 30. "The big thing in this league is all about how you bounce back," Carter-Williams told reporters. "Forgetting the last one, forgetting your last game." Ersan Ilyasova added 16 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo had 11 points to finish in double figures for the 13th straight game, which is the longest streak of his career.

ABOUT THE CELTICS (34-41): Tyler Zeller scored 11 of his 19 points in the first quarter and Kelly Olynyk also added 19 points despite playing with a badly swollen eye suffered in the pregame shootaround. "It didn't affect me a lot except that I couldn't see that well from that eye," Olynyk told reporters. "There's a lot of things that if you put your mind to, you can do, that you don't think you can." Evan Turner recorded 13 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds for his third double-double in his last 20 games.
