Rockets at Grizzlies
The Houston Rockets look to win for the 13th time in 14 games when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. Houston recorded a 121-105 victory in Atlanta on Tuesday for its 10th triumph in its last 13 road contests.
All-Star guard James Harden recorded 31 points and 10 assists in the win over the Hawks for his fifth consecutive double-double and has scored at least 20 in 13 straight games. Clint Capela also stood out with 26 points and 11 rebounds, giving him six consecutive double-doubles and 37 overall. The Grizzlies allowed an average of 133.5 points while losing their last two games and now are entering a stretch during which four of their next five games are at home. "I'm extremely disappointed in our effort on the defensive end on this trip," Memphis coach J.B. Bickerstaff told reporters after Saturday's 135-128 loss to Washington. "We'll keep trying different things, different people, different positions, but we just can't survive playing this way, and that's not how we're going to be as a team."

ABOUT THE ROCKETS (45-26): Backup small forward Danuel House Jr. knocked down a career-high six 3-pointers and scored a season-best 19 points versus Atlanta. House just returned to Houston after a stint with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the G-League and is brimming with confidence after averaging 17 points while making 12-of-22 3-point attempts over three games. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, more confident," House told reporters after Tuesday's victory. "I've become a student of the game even more. The coaching staff and players have poured a whole bunch of confidence in me."
ABOUT THE GRIZZLIES (28-42): Swingman CJ Miles likely will miss the rest of the season with a stress reaction in his left foot. Miles departed Saturday's game against the Wizards with soreness and an MRI exam detected the damage. The 32-year-old Miles, who was part of the package Memphis received from Toronto in the deal for Marc Gasol last month, has averaged 9.3 points and shot 36.4 percent from 3-point range in 13 contests with the Grizzlies.
