Celtics 107, Warriors 103

Ray Allen and Paul Pierce scored 27 points apiece as the Boston Celtics ran their latest winning streak to four games with a 107-103 victory over the visiting Golden State Warriors on Friday.

Jeff Green reached double figures for the first time since joining the team with 21 off the bench and Rajon Rondo handed out 16 assists for the Celtics (45-15), who shot 53 percent (39 of 73) from the floor.

Monta Ellis' game-high 41 points helped the Warriors (27-34) pull to within one in the fourth quarter after they trailed by as many as 18 in the third.

Boston led 79-61, when Pierce capped an 8-0 run with a layup at the 6:41 mark of the third.

But the Warriors bridged the third and fourth quarters with a 16-4 run that cut it to five, 88-83, with 11 minutes left. The Celtics pushed it back to double digits, 98-87, with 7:30 left but Golden State kept striking, drawing to 100-99 when Ellis hit a 3-pointer at the 3:30 mark.

Pierce scored five straight points and Allen hit a pair of free throws down the stretch to seal it. David Lee added 26 points in the loss.
