Nets 94, Warriors 90

Brook Lopez scored New Jersey’s final nine points, including the decisive three-point play, to lift the Nets to a 94-90 victory over the visiting Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.

Lopez had 26 points and 10 rebounds and scored the go-ahead points on a basket and free throw with 1:09 remaining as New Jersey (20-43) won its third straight game.

Golden State’s Reggie Williams missed a game-tying shot with 5.9 seconds left and Lopez sealed the victory with two free throws.

The Warriors had taken an 89-85 lead with under five minutes to play with an 8-0 run in which Stephen Curry scored six points on a 3-pointer and three-point play and Monta Ellis connected on an 18-footer.

Lopez began his game-closing sequence with a layup with 2:28 remaining as New Jersey concluded the game with a 9-1 run.

Anthony Morrow added 22 points for New Jersey. Sasha Vujacic had 16 points and Kris Humphires added 11 and 15 rebounds. Point guard Deron Williams missed the game to attend the birth of his child.

David Lee had 17 points and 10 rebounds, Ellis scored 16 points and Curry tallied 15 for Golden State, which concluded a 2-5 road trip.
