Bucks 110, Nets 95

Carlos Delfino buried a career-high eight 3-pointers en route to 26 points and added eight rebounds as the Milwaukee Bucks snapped a three-game slide with a 110-95 victory over the visiting New Jersey Nets on Friday.

John Salmons chipped in 25 points and seven assists and Brandon Jennings collected 16 points and 10 assists for the Bucks (27-41), who stayed alive in the race for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, 2½ games behind the Indiana Pacers (30-39).

Brook Lopez scored 25 points to lead the Nets (22-45), who have lost eight straight to the Bucks.

Milwaukee made its move in the third quarter, getting three 3-pointers from Delfino during an 11-4 spurt to go up, 70-63, with 6:33 left in the frame. The Nets rallied back to within a point but the Bucks closed the quarter with three unanswered baskets to take a 80-73 cushion into the fourth.

New Jersey would get as close as 95-91 with 4:31 left, but Milwaukee put it away with a 15-4 run.
