Bulls 113, Timberwolves 82
Derrick Rose scored 21 points and Luol Deng added 19 points as the Chicago Bulls routed the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves 113-82 on Saturday.
Rose made five 3-pointers as Chicago (14-8) won its fifth straight game. Carlos Boozer added 17 points for Chicago, which extended its Central Division to three games over second-place Indiana.
Kevin Love had 23 points and 15 rebounds for Minnesota (6-18). Love has grabbed 15 or more rebounds in 10 straight games.
Minnesota has lost seven consecutive road games and dropped to 1-12 on the road.
Rose had seven assists and made 8-of-10 shots from the field. Joakim Noah tallied just nine points but had 10 rebounds and six blocked shots.
Taj Gibson had 12 points and 10 rebounds as the Bulls had a 53-36 rebounding edge.
The Bulls made 10-of-17 3-point shots during the easy victory. Chicago led 58-37 at halftime.
Michael Beasley scored 16 points for the Timberwolves.
