Pacers 94, Hornets 93

Mike Dunleavy tipped in a missed shot by Danny Granger at the buzzer that capped a wild final 30 seconds as the Indiana Pacers beat the visiting New Orleans Hornets 94-93 Monday.

The play came after David West scored five points in the last 30 seconds to provide New Orleans two leads. West gave the hornets a 91-89 lead, before James Posey drained his fifth three-pointer of the game with 16.1 seconds to give the Pacers a 92-91 lead. West then hit a foul-line jumper with 3.9 seconds left to restore New Orleans’ advantage.

After West’s jumper and a timeout, Granger got a good look at a left-wing jumper, but his shot rimmed out. But Dunleavy was there to tip it in with his left hand. The ball circled the rim before dropping in.

Granger led Indiana with 27 points while Darren Collison and Posey combined for 33 against their former team.

Emeka Okafor had 19 points and 15 assists and West added 18 for New Orleans, which has dropped 11 of 16 since starting 11-1. The loss also snapped a five-game winning streak at Conseco for the Hornets.
