Andrew Bogut had 24 points and a season-high 22 rebounds to pace the Milwaukee Bucks to a 97-91 victory over the visiting Houston Rockets on Friday.
Bogut also blocked five shots during the fourth 20-point, 20-rebound performance of his career as the Bucks (9-13) won for the third time in four games. He has averaged 16 rebounds in four games since returning from a back injury.
Kevin Martin scored 23 points to lead Houston (8-14).
The Rockets made it interesting when Kyle Lowry hit two 3-pointers in a nine-second span to trim a 93-85 deficit to three points with 23.9 seconds remaining. Milwaukee put the game away on a Bogut layup with nine seconds left.
Brandon Jennings scored 19 points and John Salmons added 17 points for Milwaukee. Ersan Ilyasova added 13 points.
The Bucks had a 48-37 rebounding edge and blocked 10 shots.
With Yao Ming sidelined with an ankle injury, Houston fill-in centers Chuckie Hayes and Brad Miller were badly outplayed by Bogut.
Rockets guard Courtney Lee added 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting.
