Warriors 100, Bucks 94
Monta Ellis scored a game-high 24 points to help the Golden State Warriors to a 100-94 victory over the visiting Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.
Ellis was passed over for a Western Conference All-Star spot earlier in the day despite being the sixth-leading scorer in the NBA.
Ellis posted his 37th 20-point outing of the season and made a key 20-foot basket with 17.3 seconds left after Milwaukee had pulled within two points to help Golden State (21-27) hold on for the win.
Ersan Ilyasova had 23 points and 13 rebounds and Corey Maggette scored 21 points for Milwaukee (19-29), which has lost three straight contests.
Carlos Delfino scored 20 points for the Bucks and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute had 15 points and a career-high 19 rebounds.
Stephen Curry and Dorell Wright scored 16 points apiece and David Lee added 15 points for the Warriors.
Golden State’s Reggie Williams had 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting and hit three 3-pointers. Williams is now 11-of-12 shooting over the last two games.
Wright had four of the Warriors’ 12 3-point baskets.
Milwaukee was without center Andrew Bogut (knee) for the second straight contest.
