Hawks 112, Grizzlies 109

Mike Bibby hit three key 3-pointers in the final four minutes to lead the Atlanta Hawks to a 112-109 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night.

Al Horford scored 20 points for Atlanta, which has won four straight. Josh Powell and Jamal Crawford added 16 points off the bench while Bibby and Marvin Williams both scored 15. Josh Smith also hit double figures with 13 points.

Memphis, which defeated the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night, was led by Zach Randolph’s 19 points and 19 rebounds. Rudy Gay scored 23 points while Mike Conley had 20. Marc Gasol added 16 points.

The Hawks (12-7) led by eight early in the fourth quarter, but Memphis (8-11) cut the lead to 95-94 on Conley's jumper with 4:37 to play. Two 3-pointers by Bibby and a three-point play by Horford helped Atlanta build the advantage to 105-97 with 2:25 remaining.

Memphis sliced the lead to four, but Bibby's final 3-pointer with 17.8 seconds left gave Atlanta a 109-102 lead. The Grizzlies cut the margin to three, but could get no closer.

Atlanta played without guard Joe Johnson, who will have surgery on his right elbow Thursday and is expected to miss four to six weeks.
