Hawks 110, Jazz 87

Joe Johnson scored 28 points and Jamal Crawford added 26 as the visiting Atlanta Hawks took control from the start Wednesday and handed the Utah Jazz their worst home loss of the season, 110-87.

The reigning Sixth Man Award winner, Crawford has averaged 26.8 points - 11 above his season average - in his last four games. The Hawks (24-14) won their third straight contest and improved to 8-3 on second nights of back-to-back games.

Atlanta has won two straight in Utah after losing 16 of its previous 17 visits to Salt Lake City.

Crawford scored 17 points in the first half, including a 45-footer at the buzzer that gave the Hawks a 55-41 lead. Atlanta made 14-of-25 3-pointers.

Johnson, who was 10-of-17 from the field, scored 14 points in the first half and nine in the third quarter on three 3-pointers as Atlanta increased its advantage to 85-69.

Al Horford scored 18 points and Josh Smith had 12 for the Hawks, who improved to 13-2 when they score 100 or more points.

Deron Williams had 19 points and nine assists for Utah (24-12), which fell to 12-2 against the Eastern Conference.
