Hawks 91, Trail Blazers 82

Guard Jeff Teague tied a career high with 24 points, and the Atlanta Hawks snapped a four-game losing streak with a 91-82 victory over the visiting Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night.

The Hawks (38-28) were without All-Star center Al Horford, who sprained his left ankle Friday night at Chicago. Zaza Pachulia started in Horford's place and had six points and six rebounds.

LaMarcus Aldridge led Portland (37-29) with 22 points, six rebounds and seven assists. Wesley Matthews scored 19 and Brandon Roy added 16.

Teague started for small forward Marvin Williams as Atlanta shuffled its lineup and responded with his best output of the season, also contributing five steals and three blocks.

Atlanta took command when it outscored Portland 27-12 over the final nine minutes of the third quarter to gain a 62-54 lead, as Jamal Crawford scored 10 points and Josh Smith had seven. Crawford finished with 20 and Smith had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Hawks.

The Hawks have won five in a row over the Blazers, including three straight at Philips Arena.

Atlanta backup forward Josh Powell was arrested before the game for refusing to move his car for an oncoming ambulance, according to a team official, and was not at the game.
