Nuggets 120, Bobcats 80

Wilson Chandler had 16 points, one of seven Denver players in double figures as the Nuggets rolled to a 120-80 victory over the visiting Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday.

Denver improved to 4-1 since trading Carmelo Anthony to the New York Knicks. The Nuggets (36-26) shot 60.8 percent from the field in the one-sided victory.

Matt Carroll scored 19 points for Charlotte (26-34).

Denver used a 10-2 run in the second quarter to take a 41-28 lead on Al Harrington’s basket. The Nuggets rolled off 13 consecutive points in the third quarter with Ty Lawson’s hoop making it 85-57 with 2:43 left in the period.

Chris Andersen, J.R. Smith, Lawson and Nene all scored 14 points for the Nuggets. Arron Afflalo tallied 11 points apiece and Kenyon Martin scored 10 points.

D.J. Augustin added 13 points for Charlotte, which shot just 36.7 percent.

Bobcats leading scorer Stephen Jackson had just seven points on 3-of-10 shooting.

Denver outrebounded Charlotte 49-28.
