Trail Blazers 93, Bobcats 69

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 26 points and the Portland Trail Blazers pulled away in the second half for a 93-69 rout of the visiting Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday night.

Patty Mills scored 12 points on four 3-pointers, including a pair during a game-breaking run in the third quarter as Portland (35-27) sent the Bobcats to their fourth straight defeat.

Gerald Henderson scored 16 points and D.J. Augustin added 14 for Charlotte (26-36), which was without leading scorer Stephen Jackson, who sat out with a sore hamstring.

The Trail Blazers seized control early in the second half, reeling off 13 straight points to erase a three-point deficit and closing the third quarter on a 23-7 run to take a 65-52 lead into the final 12 minutes.

The teams were meeting for the first time since the trade that sent Gerald Wallace to Portland for Joel Przybilla, Dante Cunningham, Sean Marks and two first-round draft picks.
