Blake Griffin had 17 points and 15 rebounds, and Chris Kaman added 16 points and 10 rebounds off the bench as the Los Angeles Clippers won their third straight, 92-87 over the host Charlotte Bobcats on Monday.
The Clippers never led by more than eight or trailed by more than five in a game that featured seven ties and 11 lead changes.
Mo Williams scored 17 points for the third consecutive game and added seven assists for the Clippers (24-40).
Gerald Henderson had 20 points and Boris Diaw had 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Bobcats (26-37), who lost their fifth straight.
Charlotte, which has failed to reach 90 points in each loss, fell 1 1/2 games behind Indiana for the final playofff spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Bobcats pulled within 89-85 on a layup by Shaun Livingston with 18 seconds left, but the Clippers made 3 of their final 4 free throws to clinch the win.
