LeBron James scored 30 points and Dwyane Wade added 26, leading the the Miami Heat to a 105-94 win over the Washington Wizards on Monday night.
The win was just the second in the last six games for Miami (10-8). The victories have come against Washington and Philadelphia, the two worst teams in the Eastern Conference
The Wizards (5-11) are 0-8 on the road.
Andray Blatche scored 26 points for Washington, which was playing without rookie guard John Wall, the No. 1 pick in the draft. Wall missed his second straight game because of a bruised right knee.
Gilbert Arenas added 23 for the Wizards. Chris Bosh scored 20 points for Miami.
The Heat led 24-21 after one quarter and built the lead throughout the game. Miami outscored Washington in every quarter except the fourth.
Washington's Hilton Armstrong and Miami's Juwan Howard were ejected in the third quarter. Armstrong was called for a flagrant two foul for shoving Joel Anthony to the floor while attempting to shoot near the basket. Howard was ejected for pushing Armstrong.
Washington's Kirk Hinrich and Miami's James Jones were whitsled for double technicals after they squared off in the fourth quarter. The Wizards' Alonzo Gee was later called for a flagrant foul against Bosh.
